This page explains how to delete Instagram / Meta data processed by Instaflax on your WordPress site.

Uninstalling the plugin alone may not remove all Instagram connection data. Use one of the options below to explicitly disconnect and delete stored data.

---

What data Instaflax stores (on your site)

When you connect Instagram, the plugin may store on your WordPress database:

---

Option A — WordPress admin (self-service) Recommended

1. Log in to WordPress admin (user with manage_options capability).

2. Go to Instaflax → Manage Accounts.

3. Find the connected Instagram account.

4. Click Disconnect or Remove.

This deletes on your site:

Feeds using that account will stop updating until you connect again.

---

Option B — Revoke access in Instagram / Meta

1. Open Instagram (mobile app or web).

2. Go to Settings → Security → Apps and websites (or Website permissions).

3. Find the app linked to Instaflax / your Meta Developer app.

4. Tap Remove or Revoke access.

This stops future API access from Instagram. To remove data already stored on your WordPress site, also complete Option A.

---

Option C — Email deletion request

If you cannot access WordPress admin, email us:

- Your WordPress site URL

- Instagram username (if known)

- Brief description of your request

We will respond within 30 days and guide you or your site administrator to complete deletion.

---

Hosted services (OAuth proxy)

During Instagram connection, OAuth token exchange may pass through a hosted proxy. After a successful connection:
